Today we bring you a special gift: a free-to-read book about a traveling chien boule dog and his small Frenchy companion. Published in 1909, the text and illustrations open a window into a long ago, quite different world, complete with regional dialects, idioms, and some very out-dated notions. Take a close look at the illustrations and see if you agree; they represent how a Toy Bulldog or a Rose Eared French Bulldog would have looked in the 1900s. The amount of fuss created by this character seals the deal for us!

Now, where can we get some of that celebrated Bull Dog Tea?… Noo York, perhaps? (Gotta read the book…)
