  • In Texas, the Killeen City Coun­cil will meet July 5 to dis­cuss adopt­ing a 3-year rabies ordi­nance. (As opposed to 1-year.)
  • In the Delaware Sen­ate a bill has been intro­duced, which would cre­ate a penalty for vets who vac­ci­nate in excess of rec­om­mended dosages and/or frequencies.

Peter­son has filed SB 147 http://legis.delaware.gov/lis/lis146.nsf/vwlegislation/SB+147 “This Bill cre­ates a dis­ci­pli­nary action if a vet­eri­nar­ian gives vac­cines in excess of the rec­om­mended dosages and/or fre­quen­cies.”  The bill has been assigned to the Sen­ate Agri­cul­ture Committee.
